ANTISTATIC RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatic resin composition to give a molded article superior in moldability with superior antistatic properties and mechanical characteristics, hitherto in an method for giving an electric conductivity to a thermoplastic resin, in a case of increasing an amount of an antistatic agent to be used for aiming to improve an antistatic property, because of problems such as deterioration of an appearance or lowering in mechanical properties of a product or the like accompanied with insufficient moldability of the resin composition. SOLUTION: The antistatic agent comprises a plasticizer and a polymer containing a hydrophilic group with a volume resistivity of 1×106to 1×1012Ωcm. The antistatic resin composition is made by compounding the antistatic agent with the thermoplastic resin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
