PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder capable of making a high-speed operation and a long battery service life attainable compatibly even when a battery kind is unknown. SOLUTION: Even when the battery kind is unknown, by dividing power source lines, to which power source line a power source is connected is judged, and the frequency of clock signals is changed according to the power source connected to the power source line.
