PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load of decision processing for a specified image more and to improve processing accuracy. SOLUTION: An image processor includes an image read means for reading a document image, a specified image decision means for deciding whether the image data read by the image read means include the specified image, an image processing means for processing the image data, and a resolution converting means for changing the resolution of the image data transferred to the specified image decision means, wherein the resolution converting means lowers a pixel frequency of the image data transferred to the specified image decision means to perform simple processing.
