PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent type fire escape device as an outdoor evacuation route for a three-storied residence, with which evacuation, unaided or aided, is enabled in a fire or other emergency. SOLUTION: A rope 4 and a rope dropping metal fitting 5 are housed in a rope housing cylinder 1 comprising an inner cylinder. On top of the rope housing cylinder 1, a water-proof cap 12 is provided. The rope is supported by a rope housing cylinder head part 2 at an upper end, pushed and inserted to the rope dropping metal fitting 5 at an intermediate part to be wound around the inner cylinder 6, and connected at a lower end to a rope receiving member 7 provided at a lower end of the rope housing cylinder 1. The rope receiving member 7 is removed from the rope housing cylinder 1 by means of a pull-out pin 8. It is fixed as a rope housing device to stand on an outer wall of a building having an evacuation route. A hanging belt 17 is set on the rope dropping metal fitting 5 through a hook type metal fitting. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
