<p>Disclosed is a liquid composition containing a fluorine-containing polymer having a sulfonic acid functional group. This liquid composition hardly corrodes metals, while exhibiting good handleability. Specifically disclosed is a liquid composition containing a fluorine-containing polymer having a sulfonic acid functional group and a solvent which contains a polyhydric alcohol and a monohydric alcohol. The fluorine-containing polymer content is preferably 5-50% by mass of the liquid composition (100% by mass), and the polyhydric alcohol content is preferably 5-50% by mass of the solvent (100% by mass).</p>
