The machine (2) has a print station (12) with a printing unit (44) fixed on a support plate (42) for injecting ink on an object, and additional printing units (46, 48, 50). The printing units (44, 46, 48, 50) are arranged along a circle centered on an axis of rotation of a spool (8) when the spool is disposed in a print position. A control unit calculates theoretical instances of trigger of ink injection from each printing unit, on the object based on data representative of print pattern, size of the object, and position and speed of rotation of the spool carrying the object. An independent claim is also included for a method for printing objects. |
