A TFT(Thin Film Transistor) array substrate and a method for fabricating a liquid crystal panel using the same are provided to reduce an error in cutting the substrate by inserting a cutting key in a remaining space of a mother substrate. A cutting line(50) divides a mother substrate(10). Sub-substrates(20) are positioned in the mother substrates divided by the cutting line and include TFT arrays. The plurality of sub-substrates are formed to contact with each other in a longer side direction of the mother substrates, and the plurality of sub-substrates are formed to be separated from each other in a shorter side direction of the mother substrates. Cutting keys(60) are formed on at least one of the first sub-substrate and the last sub-substrate formed in the longer side direction of the mother substrates for an alignment of a cutting device when the mother substrate is cut.
