An encoding device, a decoding device, an encoding/decoding device and a reproducing device are provided to prevent a deterioration of a correction performance by correcting a decoding data row of an ECC(Error Correction Code) based on a parity check result. An encoding device includes an ECC coder(235), and a parity coder(234). The ECC coder interleaves data row into data row of n blocks at each of m bits. The ECC coder generates a parity of an error correction code from the data row of each of the interleaved blocks. The ECC coder adds the parity of the error correction code of each of blocks to the data row, and generates an error correction code word. The parity coder generates a parity bit at every plurality of bits of the error correction code word, and adds the generated parity bit to the error correction code word.
