A security device of an automatic teller machine is provided to prevent a robbery by exploding a bill cassette in the ATM, when a robber using heavy equipment tries to steal the bill cassette. A security device of an automatic teller machine includes a robbery detector(160), an exploder(180), and an explosion controller(170). The robbery detector detects a robbery situation, when the ATM(Automated Teller Machine) is lifted up and taken away from an implementation place. The exploder explodes a whole portion or an inner portion of a bill cassette in the ATM, so that money is not to be used again. When the robbery is detected by the robbery detector, the explosion controller activates the exploder. |
