A device to reversibly attach a windshield wiper blade to a drivable wiper arm on a motor vehicle comprises wiper arm (14), blade (12), carrier (18,20) and slider (22). A tongue-shaped coupling (26) is securely mounted by a swiveling locking action to the connecting element which is at an angle of 10 - 100[deg] to the arm. An independent claim is also included for a mounting process for the above device.
