A device and a method for promoting employment by utilizing the Internet are provided to enable a company to perform employment AD(ADvertisement) continuously in the Internet without constructing a homepage or requesting the employment AD to a job portal site, and enable a job seeker to search employment information easily/quickly by one search. A database unit receives and stores employment information of a company and application information of a job seeker. A company terminal stores the employment information to a shared folder and transmits the employment information to the database unit. A job seeker terminal stores the application information to the shared folder and transmits the application information to the database unit. A transmitter transmits the employment information stored in the database unit to the company terminal by receiving a request from the company terminal and transmits the application information stored in the database unit to the job seeker terminal by receiving the request from the job seeker. A searcher searches the employment or application information corresponding to the requested employment or application information from the database unit, and transmits the searched information to the company or job seeker terminal. |
