A plasma display panel and a method for manufacturing a discharge sheet for the plasma display panel are provided to shorten a process time required for forming electrodes by etching a plating seed layer along a pattern of an electrode and plating the layer. A front substrate(120) and a rear substrate(130) are opposite to each other. A base plate(201) is interposed between the front and rear substrates, and has plural discharge spaces(160,230). First electrodes(210) protrude upwardly and internally from front openings of the discharge spaces to enclose a portion of the front openings. Second electrodes(220) protrude downwardly and internally from rear openings of the discharge spaces to enclose a portion of the rear openings. An insulation layer encloses surfaces of the first and second electrodes and encloses an inner surface of each discharge space. The discharge spaces are filled with a discharge gas.
