A synchronization system between broadcasting contents and communication contents by using screen recognition and a method thereof are provided to divide broadcasting contents by frame, and to generate service information profiles to send the generated profiles through a mobile communication network, thereby realizing synchronization between the broadcasting contents and communication contents through broadcasting screen recognition in a mobile terminal. A broadcasting system(100) delivers various broadcasting contents. A service storage server(200) divides the broadcasting contents by frame, and generates service information profiles consisting of particular service information to be inserted into the divided particular frames and frame information, then sends the generated profiles. A mobile terminal(300) receives the broadcasting contents, and receives the service information profiles to reproduce the broadcasting contents as overlaying the service information on the corresponding frames of the broadcasting contents.
