BATTERY MODULE INCLUDING DAMPING MEMBER

A battery module is provided to prevent breakage of a lower end part of a battery cell laminate even if force is concentrated on the lower end part, to minimize internal deformation and damage of a battery module, and to improve safety. A battery module(100) includes a battery cell laminate formed by stacking many battery cells(400). A damping member(1100) for reducing shocks is installed at the downward end side of the battery cell laminate in a gravity direction. The battery cells are stacked in such a way that end parts thereof having protruded electrode terminals or the other end parts thereof form a downward end side in a gravity direction. The damping member is formed in a plate shape having a size corresponding to the downward end part of the battery cell laminate.
