The steel alloy comprises (in weight%) carbon (0.76-0.89), silicon (0.41-0.59), manganese (0.15-0.39), chromium (3.60-4.60), molybdenum (2.00-3.15), tungsten (1.50-2.70), vanadium (0.80-1.49), aluminum (0.60-1.40), phosphorous (0.03), sulfur (0.001-0.30), nitrogen (0.01-0.10), and remainder of iron and unavoidable impurity. The steel alloy comprises (in weight%) carbon (0.76-0.89), silicon (0.41-0.59), manganese (0.15-0.39), chromium (3.60-4.60), molybdenum (2.00-3.15), tungsten (1.50-2.70), vanadium (0.80-1.49), aluminum (0.60-1.40), phosphorous (0.03), sulfur (0.001-0.30), nitrogen (0.01-0.10), and remainder of iron and unavoidable impurity. The cutting tool comprises a knife and microstructure of tempered martensite.
