A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LENS HAVING IR CUT OFF FILTER

A method for manufacturing a lens having an IR cut-off filter is provided to reduce a height of a camera module by laminating two aspherical plastic lenses in a lens barrel. At least two aspherical lenses(20-23) are sequentially laminated inside a lens barrel. First and second IR cut-off filters(24,25) are laminated in thin films on first surfaces of two aspherical lenses. The lenses laminated in the lens barrel are made by mixing the aspherical plastic lenses with a glass, or only by using the aspherical plastic lens. The first and second IR cut-off filters are deposited on at least two lenses of the aspherical plastic lenses. A deposition process for the first and second IR cut-off filters is performed at a temperature lower than a transition point of the aspherical plasma lens.
