A method and an apparatus for fabricating a combination optical film, a combination optical film, an image display device, a method for fabricating a liquid crystal panel, and a method for fabricating a laminated optical film are provided to transfer each optical film separately and reuse a remaining portion of an optical film without discarding it. Sections of optical films are disposed to face each other with a gap therebetween(1). The first sealing member(T1) is applied on the first surface side of the optical films at the facing sections of the optical films to connect the optical films(2). The connected optical films are curved such that the facing sections become concave toward the second surface side of the optical films on which the first sealing member has not been applied, to narrow the gap between the facing sections at the second surface side(3). In the state that the connected optical films are curved and the gap at the second surface side is narrowed, the second sealing member(T2) is applied to the facing sections at the second surface side(4). The curved state of the connected optical films is released so as to be smoothed(5). |
