A training simulator of a distribution automation system and a method for driving the same are provided to operate the distribution automation system safely by enhancing distribution system operator's reaction performance according to various operation conditions of the distribution system. A method for driving a training simulator of a distribution automation system(120) includes the steps of: generating a virtual trouble signal generated in an actual distribution system through a real-time distribution system simulator(110); converting the virtual trouble signal according to an input signal of the distribution automation system; and generating a control signal to allow a tested person to adjust a trouble state of the distribution automation system by the virtual trouble signal to a normal state of the distribution automation system; and converting the control signal according to the input signal of the real-time distribution system simulator.
