A continuously variable transmission for a vehicle is provided to prevent an excessive amount of oil from being leaked in the transmission by supplying a pressurized fluid to a hydraulic chamber through oil passages formed in a bearing member and a piston. A variable side pulley(30) is movably installed on a primary pulley(10) which is mounted on an input shaft of a transmission, and a secondary pulley mounted on an output shaft. A piston(40) is mounted on the input shaft and the output shaft. A hydraulic chamber(50) is formed between one side of the piston and the variable side pulley to receive a pressurized fluid. A bearing member(70) is inserted into a rear cover(60) to support the piston and rotate the variable side pulley. Oil passages(80,85) are formed in the bearing member and the piston to supply the pressured fluid to the hydraulic chamber.
