A terminal equipment having the boot lazy loading function of a wireless Internet platform module and a method for controlling the same are provided to remarkably shorten the initial driving time of a platform by forming phone bios data into a plurality of DSL(Dynamic System Library) modules and loading minimum DSL modules necessary for driving when booting is performed. A terminal equipment(1) having the boot lazy loading function of a wireless Internet platform module comprises the first storage medium(2), the second storage medium(3), and a central control part(4). The first storage medium, such as a ROM, forms phone bios data and application programs into a plurality of DSL modules and stores them. The second storage medium, such as a RAM, loads DSL modules containing minimum phone bios data necessary for platform driving from the first storage medium when booting is executed. When booting is executed, the central control part performs a control operation so that only the minimum DSL modules necessary for driving platform can be loaded to the second storage medium. After booting, the main control part runs an associated application function using the loaded phone bios data.
