<p>A transparent heat-sensitive recording material of the invention comprises (a) a transparent support; (b) a heat-sensitive recording layer containing a leuco dye and a developer and formed on the transparent support; and (c) a protective layer comprising as main components a pigment and a binder and formed on the heat-sensitive recording layer; wherein the pigment contained in the protective layer is (i) calcined kaolin and at least one main pigment selected from the group consisting of kaolin and aluminum hydroxide, or (ii) calcined kaolin, a third pigment, and at least one main pigment selected from the group consisting of kaolin and aluminum hydroxide; and the calcined kaolin is present in a proportion of 0.3 to 5 mass% relative to the protective layer.</p> |
