A movable doll is provided to play various sounds, like a book-reading sound or music by using built-in sound equipment when a user manipulates a mouth by a hand to induce an interest of audiences and to increase their concentration on hearing as well as to improve their learning efficiency. A movable doll is formed in a human, animal or character, etc. with a face(10) and a body(20), and includes: a mouth(11), having a palate(11a) and a floor(11b), and kept in an opened state; a mouth opening/closing plate(13), opened or closed according to a manipulation of a user so as to open or close the mouth; a hand insertion hole(21), connected to the mouth opening/closing plate so that he/she inserts his/her hand through it up to the latter; sound equipment, having a function button which is operated by his/her finger so as to narrate a fairy tale or play a music; and an equipment holder, having a mounting for the sound equipment, and connected to the rear surface of the mouth opening/closing plate in a close contact manner.
