A method and an apparatus for manufacturing sun-dried salt are provided to transfer heat to seawater effectively through a refrigerator having excellent heat efficiency and a good coefficient of performance, and improve a production efficiency as compared with the atmospheric production. An apparatus for manufacturing sun-dried salt includes: a seawater storage tank(102); a seawater supply pipe(104) formed to supply the stored seawater(101) to a vacuum spray tank; a seawater pressurizer(105) formed on the seawater supply pipe; a first heat exchanger(110) which performs heat exchange of seawater before a vacuum spray tank and acts as a condenser of a refrigerator; an injection nozzle(113) for spraying the heat-exchanged seawater; the vacuum spray tank(117) which separates sun-dried salt from water vapor while crystallizing the sprayed seawater; a vapor discharge pipe(120) for discharging the separated vapor from the vacuum spray tank; a second heat exchanger(125) which collects heat from the discharged vapor and acts as an evaporator of a refrigerator; a gas-liquid separator(130) for separating vapor from the concentrated water; a vacuum pump(135); a first air blocking valve(141) and a second air blocking valve(143) formed to maintain internal air pressure in a vacuum state; a pressure equilibrium pipe(150) for making pressure equilibrium between the seawater supply pipe and vapor discharge pipe; and a refrigerator(160) which is configured to supply heat through the first heat exchanger after waste heat absorbed through the second heat exchanger is amplified into high-temperature heat by a refrigeration compressor(163).
