PURPOSE: An IP multicast packet transmitting method in a mobile communication network is provided to effectively transmit a multicast packet by adding information on the final end base station to an IP multicast packet and transmitting the packet. CONSTITUTION: A packet serving node receives an IP M/B(Multicast/Broadcast) packet from the Internet or an IP multicast center(S401). The packet serving node requests a base station system to establish an IP multicast link channel(S402). The packet serving node adds final end base station information to a header of the IP M/B packet(S403) and transfers it to a base station controller/packet controller(S404). The base station controller/packet controller copies the IP M/B packet, stores it in a buffer(S405) and transfers it to a lower node(S406). A packet transmission is made as the base station controller transfers a reception acknowledgement to the packet controller and the base station transfers a reception acknowledgement to the base station controller(S407). When the final end base station transfers the IP M/B packet to a mobile station, the mobile station, which has subscribed for the IP M/B packet service, is provided with a service through a channel(S408). |
