<p>The method involves comparing current image content of two image lines with a time shifted signal of other image lines in a crosswise manner. Each image line is scanned by each of sensor lines (7, 8). A stable output signal is produced based on threshold values or by application of hysteresis for condition estimation or by linear or non-linear condition estimation, where the condition estimation is implemented by a condition estimation unit, which consists of a kalman-filter. An independent claim is also included for a device for implementing the method for automatic recognition of the relative motion direction of the two-line camera to an object from the image data.</p> |
