An RBT(Ring Back Tone) and bell sound service system using dual mode spreading communication in a mobile terminal and a method thereof are provided to download and regenerate a spreading-processed sound source file in real time without access to the mobile Internet in order to select and download a sound source file. An RBT and bell sound service system using dual mode spreading communication comprises a sound source server(2) and a mobile terminal(3). The sound source server comprises a block creation unit(21), a first block transmission unit(22), a spreading sound source block creation unit(23), and a spreading sound source transmission unit(24). The block creation unit divides "n" numbers of individual sound source files into "m" numbers of blocks respectively. The first block transmission unit transmits the first blocks of all the individual sound source files to the mobile terminal before service enforcement. The spreading sound source block creation unit executes spreading processing for the other blocks of each individual sound source file and creates "m-1" numbers of individual spreading sound source blocks. The spreading sound source block transmission unit transmits the individual spreading sound source blocks for "m-1" numbers of individual IP addresses allocated to the mobile terminal repeatedly in real time according to a broadcasting or multicasting scheme.
