A data service method in a mobile terminal is provided to support various data services diversely in a high-speed data network by using the DUN(Dial Up Networking) service of a PC and the data application of a mobile terminal at the same time. A mobile terminal drives a VOD application(S300). The mobile terminal executes call setup, acquires an IP address from a base station through a PPP connection, and stores it(S310,S320). Using the IP address, the mobile terminal transmits and receives data with a VOD server, which provides VOD data, through a TCP connection(S330). At this moment, if the DUN service of a PC connected to the mobile terminal is activated(S340), the PC receives and stores the IP address stored in the mobile terminal(S350). The mobile terminal judges whether it is required to transmit the received data to the PC(S360). If so, the mobile terminal transmits the received data to the PC through an Rm interface(S370).
