OPTIC COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND THE OPERATION METHOD THEREOF

An optical communication system and an operation method thereof are provided to send signals by sharing various wavelengths by converting overlapped wavelength bands into other wavelength bands, thereby removing the connection zones of optical lines which are repeatedly installed. Plural optical communication units(201-203) perform communication in each wavelength band. An expansive optical module(300) converts signals where wavelength bands are overlapped into other wavelength bands, and mixes the converted signals with signals of other optical communication units to send the mixed signals. A remote optical module restores the converted signals where the wavelength bands are overlapped into original wavelength bands, and wavelength-distributes the restored signals to the respective optical communication units.
