The device has an uneven T-shaped track shoe (1), whose detachable cam (5) is constituted of a rigid semi-cylindrical part with two spigots (6) permitting coupling with the track shoe to form a tiltable assembly. A spacer (7) is positioned between the track shoe and the cam to change height of chocking. The track shoe is provided with a bevel (4) on two faces to facilitate access to the bevel.
