APPARTUS FOR TREATMENT OF BALLAST WATER

An apparatus for treating ballast water is provided to completely process plankton in the ballast water by filtering the plankton through a mesh net, thereby maintaining an optimum state of the apparatus. An apparatus for treating ballast water includes a body(10), an inlet(20), a filter unit(30), an outlet(40), a motor(50), and a sludge outlet(60). A cylindrical shape space is formed inside of the body. The inlet is formed at one side of the body to introduce the ballast water. A through hole formed in a shape of a hollow thin cylinder and penetrated into an outer periphery is formed in a connection unit. A mesh net is coupled to a top and a bottom of a filter along the external surface. The ballast water passes through the mesh net by stacking a plurality of filtering materials inside of the body to flow into the bottom side of the filter unit. The outlet discharges the ballast water passed through the filter unit to outside.
