The assembly (10) has a base plate (24) for attachment to an outer side of the body (26) of a motor vehicle and for receiving of a portable radio antenna (16). A fixing section has a supporting section that is spaced from the base plate by a light distance. A latch body (30) is arranged inside the body and cooperates with the fixing section. The latch body has a latch section, which is wedgable in the distance such that the base plate is deformed against the body. An adapter plate (28) is arranged inside the body.
