A sound recognition apparatus for a hearing-impaired person is provided to notify a message accurately by registering predetermined sounds and notifying the sounds according to the priority. A sound recognition apparatus for a hearing-impaired person includes a specific sound detector(100) and a notifying unit. The specific sound detector includes a micro sensor unit(110), an amplifier circuit unit(120), a first microcomputer unit(130), and an RF(Radio Frequency) transmitter(140), which are integrated in one module. The specific sound detector detects the specific sound and transmits the detected sound to the notifying unit by using an RF transmission scheme. The sound is converted to an electrical signal. A BLM(Boundary Layer Microphone) reproduces the electrical signal as a sound signal having a frequency within an audible frequency range. |
