A conductive roller having PTT brushes, and a developing unit and an image forming apparatus using the same are provided to apply functional fibers using PTT resin and a conductive material with a low moisture rate, an initial modulus, and a high restoration rate, thereby acquiring enhanced printing quality and improving the durability and reliability of a device. A conductive roller(1) having PTT(Polytrimethylene Terephthalate) brushes comprises a roll-shaped core(5) and plural functional fibers(10). The plural functional fibers are attached to the outer circumference of the core at a predetermined length. The functional fibers have conductivity, and the functional fibers are electrically connected to the core. The functional fibers are composed of PTT resin and a conductive material.
