FACTS SIMULATOR SYSTEM CONNECTED SCADA IN ONLINE

A SCADA(Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) online FACTS(Flexible AC Transmission System) simulator system is provided to analyze a FACTS system control effect according to FACTS operation setting values by receiving and calculating SCADA data in real-time, and extract the optimal FACTS operation setting values based on an analysis result. A SCADA system(10) obtains line data, which includes time, mother line voltage, effective/invalid power flow, and breaker/relay operation data, of a power system periodically. An FACTS simulator(20) calculates a flow of the power system based on a FACTS flow calculation model by receiving the lien data from the SCADA system. The FACTS simulator comprises a database server(11) receiving/storing the line data, an MMI(Man-Machine Interface)(12) receiving FACTS control setting values from an operator, a flow calculation analyzer(13) calculating the flow of the power system based on the line data and the control setting values, and a display unit(14) displaying an analysis result. The FACTS flow calculation model is suitable for a kind of FACTS equipment installed to a mother line and the line in a real power system.
