A network contents providing device for heterogeneous mobile platforms and a method thereof are provided to reduce a network contents providing cost by performing conversion based on message forms used in each mobile platform and a network contents providing server. A message converter(220) converts a contents message received from a network contents providing server into a contents-platform message to provide the contents message to a mobile platform, or converts a platform message received from the mobile platform info a platform-contents message to provide the platform message to the network contents providing server. A network contents message interface(210) provides a communication interface for receiving the contents message from the network contents providing server or transmitting the platform-contents message to the network contents providing server. A mobile platform message interface(230) provides the communication interface for receiving the platform message from the mobile platform or transmitting the contents-platform message to the mobile platform.
