A method for processing a subscribing terminal call in an OTA(Over The Air) service is provided to offer the optimum OTA service by minimizing an unnecessary interface portion in executing the call processing of a subscribing terminal. In case a terminal makes a location registration request(ST21), an SGSN(Serving GPRS Support Node) judges whether the terminal is a generic terminal or a temporarily opened terminal(ST22). If the terminal is a generic terminal, the SGSN makes a request to an HLR(Home Location Register) so that the location registration of the terminal can be successfully made(ST23). If the terminal is a temporarily opened terminal, however, the SGSN transmits a location registration fail message to the terminal, and requests the terminal to execute location registration to an MSC(Mobile Switching Center) server(ST24,ST25). Based on the request from the SGSN, the terminal makes a location registration request to the MSC server, and activates an OTA(ST26).
