<p>A vehicle brake device having a master cylinder (11) and a pressure control valve (44). The master cylinder (11) has a front pressure chamber (R<SUB>1</SUB>) and a rear pressure chamber (R<SUB>2</SUB>) that are obtained by partitioning the inside of a cylinder (12) by a drive piston (13). Wheel cylinders (21FR, 21FL) are connected to the front pressure chamber (R<SUB>1</SUB>). In the pressure control valve (44), electromagnetic force based on a target control pressure moves a drive valve (56) to regulate hydraulic pressure from accumulator (42), thereby producing control pressure that can be outputted by the pressure control valve (44) to the rear pressure chamber (R<SUB>2</SUB>) and wheel cylinders (21RR, 21RL). Also, in the pressure control valve (44), an external piston (58) moved by external pressure from the front pressure chamber (R<SUB>1</SUB>) moves the drive valve (56) to regulate hydraulic pressure from accumulator (42), thereby producing control pressure that can be outputted by the pressure control valve (44) to the rear pressure chamber (R<SUB>2</SUB>) and the wheel cylinders (21RR, 21RL).</p> |
