<p>A gear assembly(l?) with a first gear(24) having a first coupling portion(28) and a vibration absorbing adaptor(30) inserted into the first coupling portion(28) of the first gear(24). The first coupling portion(28) and the adaptor(30) are interlocking. The adaptor(30) also includes a second coupling portion(32). A second gear(34) is inserted into the second coupling portion(32) of the adaptor(30) and is driven by the first gear(24). Additional gear(38) may be driven by the second gear(34). The gear assembly which makes efficient use of space is comparatively compact and low-noise.</p> |
