<p>An apparatus for providing multiple screens and a method for configuring the multiple screens dynamically are provided to display plural services acquired by cable/satellite/terrestrial broadcasting, various storage media, and external input through a physical display screen in various forms. A digital signal processing module(940) receives video information, audio information, or data information to restore a service associated with the received information. A service processing module(950) generates an output screen, a logical screen, and an overlay screen for displaying the restored service. An output module(960) varies and disposes the position of the generated logical screens in the output screen and disposes the generated overlay screen to be overlaid with the output screen. A broadcasting signal receiving module(910) receives and transfers a satellite broadcasting signal, a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) signal or a cable broadcasting signal, and a storage medium(920) stores the video information, the audio information or the data information. An external input module(930) receives video, audio or data information from an external device connected through a network, and a user or an application selects or restores a desired service through an user/application interface module(965).</p> |
