<p>A mandrel mill that with respect to materials whose rolling is inherently not easy, such as hollow stock pipes of stainless steel or thin material, can attain draw rolling thereof at a strikingly enhanced degree of processing and enhanced dimensional precision. There is provided a mandrel mill for stock pipe production through draw rolling of hollow stock pipe, comprising multiple roll stands including at least one or more 4-roll stands disposed for thickness rolling reduction of the hollow stock pipe and one or more 2-roll stands disposed including a final stand downstream of the 4-roll stands.</p> |
