METHOD FOR DETECTING LEAKAGE OF INSULATION STRUCTURE

A method for detecting a leakage of an insulation structure is provided to optically measure a first reactive material leaking from the insulation structure to improve reliability of measurement. A method for detecting a leakage of an insulation structure includes the steps of providing a first reactive material inside the insulation structure(S10), providing a second reactive material outside the insulation structure to chemically react with the first reactive material(S12), applying a pressure to the first reactive material to cause the first reactive material to leak through a leak path formed in the insulation structure(S14), chemically reacting the first reactive material with the second reactive material(S16), determining whether the second reactive material is varied(S18), and measuring a leakage amount of the first reactive material using an optical detector(S20).
