A VALVE BODY AND MASSAGING SYSTEM USING THE SAME

A valve body for preventing backflow from an air bag, coupled to an actuating mechanism that includes a moveable plug, said valve body including an inlet channel and an outlet channel in fluid communication with each other via at least one feed channel. The feed channel extends from an inlet channel - feed channel junction to a feed channel - outlet channel junction, and comprises at least one feed port adapted to be connected to an air bag; at least two valve seats, wherein one valve seat is located proximate to the inlet channel - feed channel junction and the other valve seat is located proximate to the feed channel - outlet channel junction, each valve seat being adapted to accommodate the moveable plug such that the fluid flow from the inlet channel into the feed channel, and from the feed channel into the outlet channel, is regulated by the respective plugs so that the valve seats in combination with the respective plugs operate as valves. The valve body also includes a check valve located between the feed port and the inlet channel - feed channel junction such that fluid flow from the feed port into the inlet channel is prevented.
