A measurement device comprising: a container-shaped body (2) the inner space of which constitutes a sample-holding part (2a) for holding a sample containing an antigen that is a test substance to be measured; a sample supply port (2b) which is formed in the body (2) in such a manner as being connected to the sample-holding part (2a); an optical measurement part (10) for optically measuring the test substance held in the sample-holding part (2a); an antibody against the antigen which is provided at a position being in contact with the sample in the sample-holding part (2a); and an agglutination promoter provided at a position being in contact with the sample in the sample-holding part (2a) which promotes the formation of an agglutination complex comprising the antigen and the antibody and has been labeled with a pigment.
