An apparatus for converting a railroad is provided to improve reliability of a converted railroad by firmly fixing the converted railroad. A rail connection bar(110) connects a movable left rail and a movable right rail. A screw bar(120) is rotated by a motor(121) and positioned in parallel with the rail connection bar. A cam(122) moves left and right along the screw bar by the rotation of the screw bar. A left wing(111) is fixed to the rail connection bar to rotate upward and downward and includes projection units on a top surface and a bottom surface. A right wing(112) is positioned on the right of the left wing and fixed to the rail connection bar to rotate upward and downward. The right wing includes projection units on a top surface and a bottom surface. A close adhesion block(113) has the same length as a movement distance of the cam and prevents the left and right wings from being rotated upward by closely adhering the projection units formed on the top surfaces of the left and right wings downward. Both ends of the cam are in contact with the projection units of the left and right wings.
