A system and a method for performing value transaction with a security-enhanced SMS(Short Message Service) channel, and a value transaction device thereof are provided to perform the value transaction by using the security-enhanced SMS channel without mounting a WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) browser on a mobile terminal, and encoding data transmission with a hash function and a symmetric authentication key. A mobile terminal(100) encodes input data, which includes at least one of an MIN(Mobile ID Number), an amount, metric, count, a PIN(Personal ID Number), and a message, by using a first symmetric authentication key and transmits the encoded data through an SMS channel. A value transaction device(120) performs value transaction with a value account(126) by decoding the encoded data received through the SMS channel with a second symmetric authentication key(124) identical with the first symmetric authentication key. The mobile terminal generates a message authentication code from the input data by using a hash function. The transaction device decodes the input data with the second symmetric authentication key, generates the message authentication code from the decoded input data by using the hash function, and compares the generated message authentication code with the message authentication code attached to the input data. |
