An organic light emitting display device and a fabrication method thereof are provided to prevent generation of a non-melted by-product when patterning a metal film by arranging a transparent or translucent conductive film on the metal film. An organic light emitting display device includes a lower structure, an organic light emitting element, and a pixel defining layer(28). The lower structure is formed on a substrate(30). The organic light emitting element is formed on the lower structure by stacking a first pixel electrode(22), an organic layer, and a second pixel electrode. The pixel defining layer isolates the organic light emitting element from an adjacent element. The first pixel electrode has a metal film(22a) formed on the lower structure and at least a single layer of a transparent or translucent conductive film(22b) formed on the metal film and the pixel defining layer. |
