A method and a system for providing music contents on the network are provided to offer the latest music search engine when providing the music contents to a mobile terminal through the wired/wireless Internet according to a music contents request of the mobile terminal equipped with a voice music search function. A music contents database(308) stores music contents and a voice music search engine storing part(306) stores the latest voice music search engine. A music contents providing server(310) extracts the requested music contents from the music contents database and receives the latest voice music search engine from the voice music search engine storing part. The music contents providing server loads trace information for searching the requested music contents to the latest voice music search engine, and transmits the extracted music contents and the latest voice music search engine, which includes the trace information, to the mobile terminal. A customer use information database(304) stores the trace information for the music contents requested from the mobile terminal by matching with a customer. |
