The assembly (2) has a body (21) delimiting a pipe (24), and a flap gate (26) mounted in the body that is formed in aluminum by extrusion. The flap gate is moved with respect to a seat (25) formed in the pipe. A clamp is fixed on the body and connected to a heat exchanger (1). A double flap is mounted in the clamp for being pivoted between a connection position, in which the pipe is connected to the exchanger, and a branching position, in which the pipe is not connected to the exchanger. Seat forming surfaces (36-39) are distributed between the body and the clamp.
