By editing the names of arrival points accumulated as a history, they can be unified into names of a common type. A mobile history editing device includes: a position information detecting unit (101) which detects the position of a vehicle; a map information accumulation unit (104) which accumulates a facility position and a facility name indicating the position, a position not corresponding to a facility and another type of name indicating the position; an arrival location name giving unit (115) which assumes that the vehicle engine stop position detected by the position information detection unit (101) is an arrival location and if the arrival location corresponds to a facility position, the facility name is read out from the map information accumulation unit (104) and given to the arrival location, and if no, another type of name is read out from the map information accumulation unit (104) and given to the arrival location; an arrival location history accumulation unit (116) which accumulates the position of the arrival location corresponding to a facility and the facility name; and a name edition unit (117) which performs edition by rewriting the name of the arrival location to which another type of name is given, into a facility name accumulated in the arrival location history accumulation unit (116).
