A change rod assembly for a manual transmission is provided to suppress wearing of a change rod and a clutch housing by forming oil grooves on contacting portions of the change rod and the clutch housing, oil flowing along the grooves. A clutch housing(11) is provided with oil grooves(111,112) at a portion contacting a change rod(12). A change road is supported in the clutch housing, and a joint(121) integrally formed on an end portion thereof. The change rod is smoothly slid in a bush(13). The joint and the bush are enclosed by a boot(16) to prevent inflow of alien substances. The oil grooves are formed on an upper surface and side of the clutch housing which come in contact with the change rod.
